Effects of fossil fuels in the environment
Everyone knows that fossil fuels are used for combustion. This produces numerous of impurities and harmful gases that pollute the air and environment. The very harmful gases produces due to combustion is Sulphur dioxide and Nitrogen oxide. These gases not only pollute the air but also are responsible for global warming and acid rain.
Experts are continuously warning about the hazardous effects of fossil fuels over the environment. This source of energy is eating our planet slowly. There is no doubt that fossil fuels are very important for any nation, but the time has come for using the alternatives.
Effect on climate-
The burning of fuel produces carbon dioxide, which effects the environment. There are two opinions, which conflicts each other- Firstly, production of carbon dioxides due to combustion is good, as water and carbon dioxide are very essential ingredient for survival. Secondly, some people says carbon dioxide is every harmful for the living beings also, responsible for global warming and change in climate.
Carbon dioxide is the chief factor for increasing global warming. Everyone is aware about the global warming and its hazardous effects over the earth. Warm temperature of the earth, result in melting of polar ice, which in result increases the level of sea. Combustion of fuels is also responsible for the extinction of aquatic life.
There are countless bad effects of fossil fuels over the environment.
Excessive use of fuels is causing air pollution, which results in causing smog. Smog not only effects the vegetation but also very harmful for the people.
Today’s generation is not ready to comprise with anything. The need of electricity and transportation is very high. To bring any change, we first change our attitude; we should understand and take step against the harmful effects of the environment. Scientifics are struggling hard to find the best alternatives for the energy. The bad impact of fuels can be seen globally, it is not limited to any one country. Therefore, every country has to be united to bring a drastic change.
